Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in Derby. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems, ensuring they run efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities:
– Analyse and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems
– Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals
– Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability of IT infrastructure
– Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions to improve business operations
– Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security
– Provide technical support to end-users on IT-related matters

Experience:
– Proven work experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role
– Strong knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices
– Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in simple terms
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
